Rustic Hand Woven Table Runner ~ Made of Pure Hand Spun Finn Wool

This table runner is hand woven in a lovely rustic design, with sweet fluffy tips on the ends of the fringe. And it is such a great size, with the woven body being approximately 9 inches wide by 21 inches long. Plus it has about 2 inches of fringe on each end. And it is made from 100% wool yarn that I hand spun.

It is done in a lovely off white color. Which makes it perfect for going with whatever color decor you are doing your table in. It would be wonderful for using on your dining or coffee table. Or anywhere else you would like a touch of rustic charm. It would be a great gift for yourself or for someone you know who loves hand made treasures.

I used rare finn sheep wool for this project. Finn sheep are thought to be several hundred years old. Descending from the mouflan that live in the wild on Corsica and Sardinia. The females are loving mothers and are known to have "litters of lambs" instead of a single lamb each year! Finn sheep are an amazing breed, and they also have a wonderful soft lustrous wool for hand spinners. Making them a wonderful rare breed of sheep that is must try.

Hand Woven Tri Scarf

If you are looking forward to cool spring mornings then this would be just the scarf to help keep you warm. This eye catching design would be great for any occasion. And with the triangle design there are many different ways you can where it. With the point going down your back, or the point going off your shoulder to the side, etc.

It is hand woven on my favorite tri loom. And is approximately 35 inches wide across the top and 17 and a half inches long down to the middle point [when not measuring the fringe]. This beautiful tri scarf is made in a lovely plaid with your choice of colors. I have a few of the available colors listed on the side in the drop down menu. But I have many other colors also available, so if you are looking for a different color just let me know.

It is made of acrylic yarn so it is an easy care fabric. Perfect for anyone looking for a lovely well made scarf that will last for many years. I make my hand woven items with care and welcome special orders if you want a different color or size.

Drop Spindle Kit

If you have always wanted to learn to spin, a hand spindle is a wonderful way to do it. They date back much further in history than spinning wheels. And they are not just a beginners tool. Hand spindles have been used as the primary way to spin in many cultures since long ago. And spindles are so portable that you can put them in your bag and spin on the go! Making them a great spinning tool that you can use almost anywhere.

This spinning kit includes a lovely 1.6 ounce spindle, a half ounce of off white pure Cheviot wool roving, and a leader yarn. [which gives you something to easily begin your new hand spun yarn with] And the spindle has already been hand finished with linseed oil. Letting it's beautiful warm color shine through. The round whorl is not notched, but you could easily add that if you desired. The spindle is approximately 11 inches long, with a 2 and a half inch whorl.
